The opportunity: your next adventure awaits
EY clients are increasingly requesting advice on and support for operational transfer pricing, also known within EY as intercompany effectiveness (ICE). This service offering focuses on the effective and efficient execution of intercompany pricing across the intercompany lifecycle (price setting, transacting, monitoring/adjusting and documenting). The ICE service offering focuses on all elements of an operating model for transfer pricing (e.g., processes, controls, organizational design, data and technology).
To satisfy the increasing demand for these services, EY is seeking to hire a role within our transfer pricing team to focus on operational transfer pricing and ICE services. The Senior Analyst role involves working within a global team of EY transfer pricing professionals that cross-teams with clients’ operations, finance, tax and business leadership to operationalize their intercompany transactions efficiently, effectively and in compliance with regulatory and local tax laws.
While performing these operational transfer pricing functions for clients, you’ll leverage scalable methods to monitor, adjust and document financial data and information used for other business processes such as statutory reporting, tax provision, and compliance. In the short and medium term, the expectation is this role will focus on a single EY client, with the possibility of service to additional clients long-term.
Your key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational transfer pricing responsibilities for a specific client
- Support client tax teams with transfer pricing/intercompany-related questions and action items from the business
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and projects that support tax, accounting, finance and business needs
- Support client technology systems and processes used to facilitate the intercompany life cycle
- Execute internal controls for transfer pricing processes
- Document, review and deliver operational transfer pricing/intercompany training for clients
